MEET THE DOCS at European Film Market

February 12-21 Berlin, Germany. Following the successful first edition of Meet the Docs, the European Film Market, EFM and EDN is repeating the initiative in 2010. Meet the Docs is aiming to add a service to documentary attendees at EFM and work as a meeting point for the documentary industry. 
Meet the Docs will facilitate documentary sellers, buyers, producers and directors with match making, networking and market information and serve as a network space, meeting point and stand dedicated to documentary.
Please note that there is no seperate registration procedure for the Meet the Docs initiative as this is an integrated service of the EFM.

Location at the EFM
Meet the Docs will be located at the markets main venue Martin-Gropius-Bau Gallery, Stand G6. At the gallery at the first floor the market will put at disposal a stand, which well work as a meeting point and information desk for the documentary community.

Meet the Distributors
In addition to the ongoing service provided at our stand we present the daily Meet the Distributors sessions on the central days of the market.
For one hour, starting at 14:00, you will have the opportunity to meet leading documentary distributors. The sessions will be held in the EFM Lounge.
The distributors will briefly introduce themselves, the profiles of their companies and what kind of documentaries they are looking for.

Meet the Makers
As a new element to the Meet the Docs initiative we are adding two the Meet the Makers sessions this year. The sessions will be taking place at two in the afternoon on Friday the 12th and Wednesday the 17th. The sessions will be held in the EFM Lounge.
