Jesse Pérez Antiguais a New York based educator, filmmaker, and advocate with over a decade of experience teaching media arts and developing youth programs across public schools and nonprofit sectors. She leads youth filmmaking initiatives at the award-winning Downtown Community Television Center (DCTV), where her students were nominated for a New York Emmy for Our Camera, Our Stories. Jesse co-produced “COVID DIARIES” on HBO Max. She is committed to amplifying underrepresented voices and advocating for storytellers to preserve their narratives and take their rightful place in an industry that often excludes them. Her work is deeply rooted in community arts and collective empowerment.
